I'd love to get an idea of what we are all able to make.
Please state your expertise and experience with making mods, making landscapes, interior dungeons, NPCs, using the mod tools, making models, textures, sound files... and please try to make an estimate of how much time you plan to or are able to invest in a project like this.
I think we should be aware of how strong the team is or will be (I realize some of you are in exams right now) and who is able to do what, when.
If you post here, please note if wand when you are going to get started, and on what you would like to/should best work.
EDIT by Hannes821: THIS PLACE IS FOR EVERYONE WITH PASSION ABOUT ATMORA, so even if you have no idea about modding, you will be welcome, too. We have tutorials and help each other! To become a part of the crew, write something here to introduce yourself and then click on "register" in this forum .
AND THERE YOU GO! THEN YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THE INNER FORUM AND BE MEMBER You can claim work and participate in the discussions there!
Behave nice, (we only give data to people we trust) and have fun!
Welcome on board, our ship is heading North !
WELCOME TO ATMORA, THE LAND OF TRUTH !

Good Experience with: -making worlspaces -making interiors -making scripts -TES5Edit -Nifskope -BSAopt -Mod Organiser -Quest writing and lore
Most experience with own mod: Expedition to Atmora, some with Beyond Skyrim - Bruma
I intend to finish the mod by the end of the year, and I'm able to work a few hours every day, half a day in the weekend. During the week I am employed fulltime.
I'm already working on it (for about 7 months now), and I think I'd better keep working on the landscape and quest, while someone else tries their hand with the interiors and modelling, side-quests, ..
I am willing to provide my workspace for you to use, expand, improve, but am not willing to work on another one or create another one from scratch (which takes several hundred hours to do)

Hi! I have experience with: - Cluttering
- Markers & Loaddoors
- Basics of NPC making
- Lighting and Sounds
- Lore&Story
- Basic Navmeshing
- Editing & recording Sound data
- Basic Image editing
my first MOD was "Hanors House": www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66223/? the next weeks i prepair exam, but after that i can invest more time in our Project; have to admit, i am a newbie in modding
Other things: i speak several languages and i am communicative; so i hope i can be moderator in our young Team and help to develop strategies and Teams; and keep everyone here motivated to work together for our ultimate aim ATMORA ;-)
Also i am a big Stormcloak fan ;-) and love "ancient lore" and exploration...

My experience is mainly with: - Interiors
- Clutter [placement]
- Basic Landscaping
- TES Lore (on r/teslore if you want to see: ask me), Writing, etc.
- Exteriors, Markers
- Doors, Activators, Traps
- NPCs (mainly creation, but can branch out)
I can also handle these things (more of a work-in-progress):
- Mod Organizer (have already used, but still learning)
- Modeling & Textures (know how to use tools, just need more application; basic skills in texturing)
- Scripting, Quests (have touched scripts before, but still learning)
- Map Making, Heightmap manipulation (have actually created my own basic worldspaces)
- Dialogue
While this is a basic introduction (which I may edit later on), I would also like to introduce myself a little more to anyone interested. One thing that had gotten me interested in Atmora beyond learning lore truly began when I joined an Elder Scrolls themed Minecraft Server, the Elder Scrolls Role Play Server , after getting into Minecraft multiplayer and playing the then fairly new TES V: Skyrim. It was this server that particularly stuck out to me due to it's interesting players, dedicated fans, and a generally closer mature player-base. After playing a small while, the owner noticed my particular qualities and skills (building, engaging with others, player ethics), so it was not long until I became staff. From that point forward, I went all the way from Moderator to OP Co-Owner. Unfortunately this server went offline by accident near it's prime, which inspired me to mod for them, the awesomeness of Atmora (which the old server portrayed in ancient times) and the TES community. While the server is now gone, the website still exists. Other than those small things about myself, I am currently an upperclassman in college. I tend to get very busy studying business, but when it comes to anything Gaming/Modding related, making a mod in/for Atmora is one of my great priorities. When I am unable to do much regarding modding (when away at school), I would be more than happy to bounce some ideas and help with writing.

I came across this post about the mod and thought i have a go at getting recruited (before i continue feel free to message me on steam (Same name as the guest name) My expertise is in: Worldspaces (Currently making a mod called Facor www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63966/? ) Interiors- i know how to make them and apply roombounds etc for better FPS and stability Nifscope-Limited (i made a cow wear a iron helmet for a idea, but didnt know how to import into the CK so left it there ) Navmesh-I have navmeshed rooms and worldspaces with the recast gen which auto generates Navmesh then i polish it further. Exteriors-See my mod for pictures and what i can do however i have added more to it and redesigned it with snow instead so pictures are a bit out of date PM me on steam if you want updated ones) That was just some stuff what i can do in the CK, i can get started designing landscape etc right away since am off college and soon be back there. PM me so we can discussion the project in detail, just a suggestion have a look in version control for the project where a person works on an esp and then checks in and merges it to a ESM! Thanks mathew1800

I'm new to the whole modding thing but I can make stuff like interiors , houses , armor , textures and NPC's . I can work with programs like 3ds max , Creation Kit and nifscope , and I'm also an expert with the elder scrolls lore can write some pretty interesting stories as well. Last but not least I have a really big thing for details and easter eggs and I hope to see some of those as well.
Love the whole idea , and being considered a member of this project would be nice so if you ever need anything just tell me.

Well, you can do pretty much whatever you want. If you are willing, there are a few models that need to be made, there are some interiors that can be claimed (read the Interior thread), and you can also take responsibility of making the NPCs unique (with RaceMenu, unique gear setups, etc), arrange voice acting. PM me, make a thread, let's get started.

3 months experience with the CK (110 hours) with: Interiors – focal point interiors Exteriors – I try to build unique things out of standard Skyrim bits and pieces. Lighting design - I’d rather use 1 light effectively than 5.. Emittance based ambience – Fog, mist and snow. Complex combat ready Navmeshes, all by hand, drop-downs, cover, multiple tiered areas crossing cells etc: www.flickr.com/photos/133222750@N04/sets/72157653373454085Competent in TES5Edit - I think I have about 325 eps installed and it runs fine. I merge / patch / mod the mods for the fun of it! BSAopt Coincidentally I have reasonable Atmorian lore knowledge from my planned Windhelm Necropolis mod (Ysgramor’s discarded tomb). Apparently I have 1,177 hours in Skyrim, but I guess its more like 1,600-1,700 due to offline mode in Steam. Profession Assistant Studio manager / creative artworker / retoucher. Adobe suite. I did do some training in Cinema 4D last year, but I forgotten 98% due to not using it. So that equates to visuals, retouching (I can produce textures, and normal maps using CrazyBump), design, typography and project management. Previous hobbies included Audio editing and manipulation, multitrack recording and mastering. I used to be a musician, I might play you the music 'Lacrimae – The cold winter' as its quite relevant. If you want to sum up, I prefer to work intensely on one area of importance / focal point and refining it 'til my eyes bleed. Whether that’s a combat area or a focal point in a dungeon; a “oh, I haven’t seen that before” moment. The reason why I haven’t released any mods? Because I’m still learning and I have the horrible trait of being a perfectionist.

Experience in -Unreal Engine -Hammer -Photoshop texture work -Tes5Edit -Lore -Music -BASIC CK interiors (eager to learn more)
I have plenty of time on my hands for the next few months. I could probably work on it at least a few hours almost every day. I would love to work on some interiors and texture work. I love adding little unwritten "stories" to my work. I am extremely excited to start on this project!

Hello everybody! I've been working on a personal (mostly lore) project on Atmora, which includes the language (I'll post a link to it if anyone's interested). My "areas of expertise" would be: Lore; Story creation; Npc creation (I know the theory of dialogue, but have never actually but it to action); Worldspace creation&editing (still have to learn region editing, but that can be remedied); Voice acting (I've been told I have a good voice, and I have a Blue Yeti, so I should be available for that); Dungeon making and cluttering. I'd really like to flesh out story and lore through descriptions, dialogue, npcs and ingame books, but I'm up for anything As for available time, from October on I'll be free as a bird (relatively, I am in the second to last year of Italian high school, so free time will vary sensibly from exam to exam)

Hello there, I go by the handle, SagittariusMoon on most creative forums. What I do for mods lately is model. 3DS Max 2014, Gimp, Nifskope, CK set up of files. Before I got into modeling 3D armour and now statics. I would do some terrain work for custom housing. Including navameshing and light scripting to get things in my houses to switch out. Like claw holders, masks, etc. Working with cells. Followers, etc. Basically, I like to create. I do write, more for the female set, but you can check it out here: samsaranights.wordpress.com/category/thorn/ There are two fanfictions up based on the Skyrim Romance mod, which I have done armour work for. Soon to be released. Check out my work here: i1160.photobucket.com/albums/q500/Heavenorb/ScreenShot54.png You will have to click screens to get to new sets, since I do stage screen shots at different points of meshing. Yes, the cattails I made too. Will try out for voice acting if/when needed. Female only and probably not elderly. Hope this helps!

(Note: I will be busy with other projects but will dedicate some time here when possible) Expertise: Scripting, NavMeshing, Quests, Dialogue, Scenes and NPC Implementation. Most of this has been from my work with Beyond Skyrim. However for mods I've released myself there's this: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64467/?If you feel I could help out then let me know.

Hello! Name's Rhys. I have never worked on any mods before now, most I've done is made my own npc. But, although I don't read much Elder Scrolls lore, I'm a sucker for daydreaming andmaking up my own. I've got a good imagination and I never gotoo crazy in my ideas. Atmoraseems like a vastly blank canvas given its age. As long as I'm informed on the lore regarding this project I should be able to make some of my own. As for when I work, I'm always daydreaming of my own elder scrolls lore so you could say I never stop. However, I am currently in school. There shouldn't be any big exams coming up for a while so I have plenty of time to work my magic and create some cool stuff. If you send me some of the already establishedlore surrounding the project and any other story related things I should be aware I'll see what I can do. PS: Like I said I can make npc's too so I'd like to play a part in designing characters my writing may involve and help around if I'm needed.

Greetings, everyone. I would like to introduce myself.
My forum name is Archiphres on the Nexus. I am an experienced modder, having drawn up the Unofficial Morrowloot-Skyrim Overhaul, a popular download on the Nexus which when combined with Trainwiz's classic Morrowloot creates a Skyrim equivalent of Oblivion's famous OOO. I've also made a few side mods such as a vanilla upgrading quirk overhaul, gem-based alchemy ingredients and an immersion tweak to make military forts occupied by soldiers all the time, which are designed to be modular with my big project.
I also have a general interest in real-life ancient Germanic tribes and their mythology, as well as the Nords of Nirn who are heavily based on their culture. I had played around with an Atmora landmass at one point, with the idea of creating a mod where the Dragonborn would journey to Atmora to awaken the primal gods of mankind and complete his mantling of Shor(thereby becoming Talos incarnate and going back to Skyrim to beat up on the Thalmor). This would have been an overwhelming project to do alone, but when finding out about this mod, I decided to post here and offer help. I haven't been doing Skyrim for a while, but I would definitely get back into it to work on a project like this.
I will be able to help with game balance, population of the world with terrain, encounters and artifacts, and I'll also be glad to work on the storyline and lore for quests and for Atmora in general.

Very glad to have you on board then We are about to do a merge this weekend, for now I would ask you to take a look at the files on the Nexus, but rest assured the landscape and interiors have had a lot of work done since then. As for the lore, I have honestly done my very best to not disappoint but feel free to call out any errors or suggestions. There's a todo list on the forum, to give you an idea of the current todo list, but I encourage you to do whatever you like even it it means adding your own ideas (if they match, the landscape is so far along I'm afraid it does exclude some things). Any questions PM me or add me on steam "RHodeidra"

Sounds good. I've thought about the Atmoran lore a lot, so I'll be sure to look over the Lore forums on this board and propose some ideas.
I'll be looking over the to do list as well.
