rhodeidra have you heard of L3DT ? tambomedia.com/Site_Pages/tutorials/L3DT.htmla tool to design large exteriors at once... even linked by Bethesda team EDIT: Ofc RHodeidra heard of it, and has in fact used it in tests before, but at that point his landscape was already more or less in it's final shape.

Bottom. Wouldn't a wide passage be better suited for pilgrimage than a wall? Religious structures are big and elaborate to inspire and give a sense of awe to the people. A wall would obstruct the view and restrict passage where it shouldn't, in my opinion. A plaza with a central stonehenge/shrine/statue or some other kind of open space structure seems better to me

first, i would have said top, but Anathem, you are right, Bottom open is better. If we want more fort-structures, upper city and area around temple 1 has still a bit potential, but not there. when i think about it. the main purpose of our settlement, as rhodeidra said, was praising the gods; and like in many primal civs on all continents, when the event of sun-turn comes, they would take their gods / devines, who are materialized in statues, and march a parade on a special procession road. THIS would be the place. A side quest (move the figure to the sacred place = the red stone henge place) would be very easy to do. GREEN would be more stone figures to praise the gods, so they dont get pissed, thinking the atmoran inferiors are lazy. for a culture declining in the dragon wars, a intense religion is one factor of doom, like mayans and others who killed each other for gods... SO i prefer Option B, and let a statue ask us to bring her to the bay, where she can finally, after many ages, watch the sunrise again and protect the bay ( from eternal frost? making the winds calm and allow a travel back to Skyrim ?) EDIT: RED MARKED PLACE > put the statue in the middle there
